Arijit Singh, one of the most popular contemporary singers in India, performed in a concert in Dhaka on 10 March. The program was held at the Army Stadium. Dhansiri Communications organized the event.
This was Arijit Singh’s third stage show in Bangladesh. At the start of the concert, Arijit exchanged melodic greetings with the enthusiastic crowd. The crowd loved his approach.
Arijit Singh has multiple hits from both from Bollywood and Tollywood films and performed most of the songs in the concert. Arijit Singh came to fame after he participated in reality show 10 Ke 10 Le Gaye Dil. So far he received several awards including two prestigious Filmfare Awards, an IIFA Award and a Zee Cine Award. His superhits songs are from Bollywood blockbuster movies Yeh Jawaani Hain Deewani, Aashiqui 2 and Murder 2.

Bexicmo Group is currently one of the largest group of companies in Bangladesh.Arijit Singh was born in a Bengali speaking family. His mother is a Bangali and father is a Sikh. He started getting initiated training in music in his house. His maternal grandmother ( Nani) used to be a popular singer. His maternal aunt is also a singer and trained in Indian Classical Music. Arijit Singh did his schooling in Raja Bijay Singh High School. He went to Sripat Singh College.
After he showed interest in music, his parents trained him professionally. Later Rajendra Prasad Hazari taught him Indian Classical Music.
Audience loved the three hour performance.
